Psalm 142

Listen to my cry,
for I am in desperate need;
rescue me from those who pursue me,
for they are too strong for me.
Set me free from my prison,
that I may praise your name.
Then the righteous will gather about me
because of your goodness to me.

Because that is the point.
"Whether this man is a sinner or not I do not know. All I know is that I was blind and now I see."

What has Jesus helped you to see? What prison(s) have you been freed from or completely missed going to because... Jesus?

Knowing the implication is that those that love Jesus can rally around you and celebrate it with you. Free people often forget to celebrate the lack of chains. Freed people consistently remember where they were, compared to where they are now. They both need each other and their stories.
