I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
    and in his word I put my hope.
I wait for the Lord
    more than watchmen wait for the morning,
    more than watchmen wait for the morning.

Do I wait on the Lord and His answers? His guidance? His Words? 

Or do I wait on covid restrictions... 

I mean I use Amazon prime because I want things now. 

It occurred to me the other day, that if God is working in all of human history, maybe He's working slow because the long run really is that important to Him. The long game lasts. The short game just makes me happy for a time until I find something else to complain about...

But I just have to be the first to admit I don't like it. Even if it is better...

Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
    for with the Lord is unfailing love
    and with him is full redemption.
He himself will redeem Israel
    from all their sins.
