Psalm 139

How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand

In a psalm about how uniquely we are created, how crazy is it to think of the amount of brain power that God uses to deal with you? An infinite mind cannot be split into compartments that deal with you only in a little way. You don't get 1/7 billionth of Jesus' attention. You had it all when you were created, and apparently even when you're trying to hide, you still have it all.

This is not to say that His world revolves around you. This is to say that you have His attention, even when you're running. We are not clocks that God set and let run, we are flimsy jello blobs He formed that continually fall out of shape.

The beauty is that if we ask, His effort won't be just to keep us in some blobby shape, but that we can actually be formed to look more like Him which was the goal. This is until our image is finally hardened when we go to be with Him when the dwelling of God is finally with man.

Go read the psalm. It's for you.
