Gymblast® is Making an Impact In Schools

More than 30 years after it's creation, Gymblast® is still making an impact in schools across SK, we visit over 80 schools every year.

YFC staff Mitch Diesen does a majority of our Gymblasts®, but last week Corwin and the team had the opportunity to provide a Gymblast® for EVERY GRADE at Holy Rosary High School in Lloydminster!  Over 600 students participated, and as part of their school's faith retreat, Corwin was asked to share a message of HOPE and pray over these students!  We thank God for these opportunities!

Working alongside student leaders, we provide more than just games and hype... we connect students into the deeper truths of identity, the significance of choices, and the power of teamwork and encouragement.  

As well, we set up our student leaders for success, giving them unique opportunities to tap into their leadership potential.

Teachers tell us all the time, during Gymblast® they witness theincredible transformation of their students.  Many kids who are rarely engaged and never participate are suddenly jumping around, dancing and screaming and fully engaged. It is quite remarkable.  

During Gymblast®, not only are students having fun competing in the high energy games, but for those two hours, they experience a deep sense of belonging.

One of the coolest elements of Gymblast® is the ability to promote other YFC programs, as well as partner camps.  

And though 99% of the time we do not share the gospel in a traditional way, we are representing the HOPE of Jesus in these spaces, and he is providing incredible opportunities for authentic conversations and connections. 

God is using Gymblast® to bring Hope to students as well as teachers!
