Carmen was born in Calgary, AB and has moved a number of times until 2007 when Saskatchewan became her home. Before YFC she spent 8 summers at Ranger Lake Bible Camp, a season at Camp Kadesh and two years with travelling with Venture Teams International and graduated from Briercrest College with her Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry in 2014. Carmen started at YFC Saskatoon September 2nd, 2015.

Carmen served under YFC Saskatoon for 9 years. During her time there she was pioneered the Re:Create creative arts program, helped with other YFC Programs like the Drop In program, California Breakaway, Dimension Four, and Gymblast. She also helped with church and para church partnerships like The Connection, the Inspire Conference, Youth led at various churches and Youth Pastored at Christ the Healer. She recently resigned from YFC Sasakton and took a job transfer to YFC Okanagan. She currently resides in West Kelowna, BC.

Carmen’s passion’s include organizing and planning events, travelling, music and worshipping Jesus, hiking, Star Wars, and having (and making) a good cup of coffee.  It is her hope that the youth she encounters experience, joy, laughter and a sense of hope beyond their circumstances, and that they may come to know Christ’s love for them.
