Camp Kadesh!

What a beautiful place Camp Kadesh is. I’ve known tons of people that have been to Kadesh, and, it was awesome to finally experience it first-hand! In the past when I’ve spoken at camps the kids have been from all over, so the chances of seeing them again, were slim. Kadesh however, brings in a ton of kids from Saskatoon! This meant, I was able to build relationships with kids I’ll see regularly (especially thanks to Gymblast)! I’ve already caught up with some of these kids in their own schools! Such a sweet way to keep relationships going.

Sharing at evening Chapel
Whenever I share at camps, I take the time to unpack a quick and easy 5 point Gospel that’s easy to remember. You are not a mistake. You have purpose. You are also broken and need fixing. There is hope, because of Jesus. He showed us a good life worth living and then sacrificed Himself so that God would live in us. Now God will live in and through us if we let Him and no matter how dark things get and bad things seem, Jesus promises that He will come back to get us and make things right; the way they were supposed to be. I had them repeat after me to make it memorable! Hopefully God uses it to stir the hearts of those kids! Camp is such a great thing for so many kids, encouraging and building them up through new and fun experiences (with a little hope for life in the process)!!!
