Ministry Update

Since coming back from the Christmas break things have been quite busy, both personally and professionally. We are so blessed as a family on so many different levels. Even though we are busy at times, we sure enjoy each other's company. It can be a whirlwind chasing our kids around sometimes, taking them to different things, be it sports or music lessons, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Every year Saskatchewan & Manitoba YFC chapters gather for our annual regional retreat. This year it was held at Camp Cedarwood, a YFC owned camp east of Winnipeg. The retreat was held on Jan 15-17th this year, and is great for networking, catching up, and praying with our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Some of the highlights are the sessions of speaking and praise music, the annual broom ball game, and just hearing what the Lord is doing in our Region.
On Jan 18th a co-worker and myself got off the plane in Saskatoon and headed for Pambrun, SK. for the missions conference at Millar College of the Bible. This was a great time to see what God is doing around the world but also to get our name out there for some recruitment of new staff.

We have a busy ministry season coming up with Project Serve and Calbreak trips in February and March respectively. I ask that you would pray for us as a ministry. We need to keep Jesus at the centre of all we do and would greatly appreciate your partnership in the area of prayer!

You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.
