Looking Ahead

Summer always seems so short in Saskatchewan. With kids back in school, that means life returns to "regular" routine.
Things are very busy for us at SYFC. We have just returned from a staff retreat at a cabin near Christopher Lake. This was a good team building time, along with trying to clarify our vision and values. With our fall programming set to kickoff in the next week we ask that you would pray for us as an organization, but also for me and my family as we navigate what this new role entails for us.
On Saturday, our family took in the Blades preseason game in Warman. I was asked to participate in a shootout during the intermission. I ended up winning the shootout and won a new Blades jersey and penant. I am excited to return as chaplain this season. Please lift me up in your prayers as I meet with players, coaches, and team staff. God has been very gracious to me in this role and I feel absolutely blessed to be a part of the team in this way.
